Hackathon concept project to simplify movie selection
At the Bernhäckt hackathon in 2019, we worked on a familiar problem: deciding what movie to watch.
The app asks what you're in the mood for across a set of categories, in a playful onboarding-style flow. Every movie has a rating in each category, so a simple distance measure gives each one a score, and the app suggests the top three.

In 48 hours we designed the UI and built a proof of concept with Vue.js and Firebase. We won first prize.
